Dereck is the Controller at K36. He is a results-driven Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) with over 25 years of extensive experience in accounting, finance and business management across diverse industries. A steadfast and trusted advisor, he has a proven track record in leading accounting teams, driving financial performance, and providing strategic insights in support of business objectives. He has developed and implemented robust financial controls and streamlined operations while demonstrating the ability to adapt to rapidly changing business landscapes.

Before joining K36, Dereck served as Vice President of Finance for a private telecommunications company, where he was involved in several business initiatives including the commercial launch of a new mobile network. Prior to his telecommunications role, he held management and business planning positions in several world-class organizations in the beverage industry.

Dereck holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from St. Francis Xavier University and received his CPA, CMA from the Chartered Professional Accounts of Canada.
